Sure, the emcee plays a huge role in the amount of crowd reaction he or she receives but that should not directly influence the amount of stage time an emcee has over their opponent. Nowadays, excessive crowd reaction also plays a part in an emcee’s total stage time causing some battles to become fatiguing in-turn decreasing the battle’s replay value over time. It’s not only the emcee that contributes to the length of a battle.
